The sea turtle, after making the treacherous journey from her place of birth on the sand to the green-blue sea that is now her home, has become accepted, approved, and loved in this place. She has formed relationships in the deep waters of her existence and she has become complacent.
A long sign escapes her nostrils as she surfaces the water, sticking her head up to see the reality of her new call. In her exhaustion from the long trip across the depths of the ocean, she leaves the comfort of her home and ventures into an alien world, almost against her own will. Why? Because she followed the voice of her Creator and she intuitively knew where to go in order to bring forth the new thing in the birth of her dream.
So why do we question a God who tells us, “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it.’” (Is. 30:21)?
Why do we think our way is better, easier, lighter? Why do we get stuck in the “I can’ts” and our own self-satisfied mentality that we quiet that still, small voice that beacons us out of mediocrity and into refinement for our purpose to be fulfilled?
We have a LOT to learn as we grow and move and have our being. Are you BRAVE enough to step out of the water of your salvation and into the realm of possibility waiting for you on the shore?
Psalm 32:8 – I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.
