Acts 17:26-28 – From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. 27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. 28 ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’
Paul was saying that God is the Creator of ALL. Nothing is left out of all. Everything is in all. We cannot achieve salvation through our OWN search for God, but God is near to all of us through His Son, Jesus Christ, and the sacrifice that was made for us on the Cross of Calvary. God knew us before we came to be, He formed us in our mother’s womb, and He knew that Jesus would be born of Abraham’s descendants. How awesome that when God called Abraham, He already knew the plan for our salvation! God wants us to want HIM and HIM ALONE. We are the offspring! YOU, my dear friend, are one of the many stars that God was speaking to Abraham about in Genesis 15:4-5!
The boundaries of my life and my land are set in stone. I was chosen specifically for the calling in which I continually walk in to, but I CANNOT expect anyone to do the things necessary to make it in life FOR ME.
The Creator of the Universe knows me more intimately than any other person on the planet ever could. I am sitting in the middle of His will but rebellion pulls me out on a weekly basis to try things in my own strength and it doesn’t work for me. The adjustments God asks me to make are hard, they are terrifying. Obedience is greater than sacrifice but it sometimes feels like sacrifice.

To further your reading, consider this from:
Genesis 11:4 (NIV) – Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.”
We want the world to see us, to know that we are ok, to prove to someone else that we have got it together, to stand above the crowd that rushes around us. “Something…surely I can do something…I feel so small today, God. Can you even see me?” So we begin to speak the same language as those around us because nothing we do on our own seems good enough.
But God!!! If we band together to the point of forgetting that God alone can make things possible in our lives, then He WILL find a way to thwart our human plans. If we band together under the banner of Christ, then we, as Christians, can overcome evil. We should not turn against one another in the hopes of building up ourselves.
