Good Morning Sunshine! Where have you been? I have been waiting expectantly for you to arrive. I haven’t seen you in some time. You are always looking, but never really seeking. Why won’t you see Me? I am the beautiful aroma in your coffee. I am the emerald green in the grass that sparkles with the freshness of the dew. As you ponder stepping on it trying to imagine what it must feel like, I am the wind that against your face. Do you hear them? It’s the birds as they open their eyes to a new and fresh morning. I provide for them and they lack nothing, so what makes you think I can’t provide for you? They are singing to Me a sweet song that I wrote for them upon their creation. Isn’t it beautiful? I am the breeze in the trees and the hum through the branches. I am the sleep in your eye as you wipe away your tears upon remembering the nightmare you had last night. I held you as you wept but you did not know. I am the light that comes from the morning sun as it peeks over the horizon in a slow and steady way as to not wake everyone else too soon. I am like an eager puppy, bouncing from place to place ahead of you just hoping that you will catch My eye and flash Me one smile. As you move from room to room not sure of yourself this morning and the day that lies ahead, know that I have already gone there and I am waiting patiently with open arms knowing that all you need right now is to fall into them. I am in every single breath that you take. I am the warmth in the bed that is calling you to get back in it. Please don’t do that. Spend this time with Me. My heart breaks because I long for you. When I hear your alarm go off and you choose to hit the snooze button I am downcast because that could have been precious time with Me. I know where you are going and I know where you have been and I am with you. Everything is going to be ok. Don’t be anxious today. Cast all your worries on Me. Don’t get so busy this morning seeing what someone did only hours ago on social media. Cuddle on the floor with Me and just rest for a while. You don’t have to say much, other that you love Me. That is all I need to hear. I am desperate for you. No one on earth can compare to you. The coffee is ready. I know how you like it; two spoonfuls of sugar and lots of cream. Would you like Me to read to you? All you have to do is open the Book in front of you. It has all the answers to all the questions that you could EVER ask about life. You have the keys to freedom right there in the palm of your hand. You are more precious to Me than gold and any jewel in the world. Come sit a spell, lean against Me, and allow Me to show you WHO I AM.
Romans 4:18-21 – Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” 19 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. 20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.

Communication is key to any relationship. We need to communicate with God daily, even on the days we don’t feel like it. All of our lives are marked by mistakes and sin but we must consistently trust God for the results. Nothing surprises Him.
