I am struggling today. I struggle with financial burdens and responsibilities. I struggle with loneliness during the day. I struggle with work. It seems when I am down, that is when Satan decides to sucker punch me and kick me right in the stomach by adding even more to my already overflowing plate which has on it guilt, shame, sadness, and fear. It’s all a LIE from the enemy. God knows how I will feel, how I will react, what will take place, and He already has planned my way out! And I believe!! I am going to share some scriptures that have really helped me stay focused on the Lord this week. They have come to me at random and He is speaking directly to me and my situations.
His plan is much bigger than mine. My circumstances are not beyond God’s help. He is GOD! And He created me for His purpose. I am reminded that when I am burdened, it makes me feel defeated. But my burdens today can prepare me for tomorrow. Even the worst situations can make me a better person. Focusing on my predicament may in the end paralyze me because to me it seems humanly impossible, but I TRUST GOD. He will deliver me, no matter how dark the place. He has done it time and again. His rescue doesn’t always come at the time I want it. God has His very own time schedule!! And guess what?!?! It’s none of my business!
Big problems put me in a perfect position to watch God give big answers!
Psalm 34:4 – I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.
Psalm 34:17-18 – The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Psalm 34:22 – The Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.
The battle has already been won. I have already been redeemed. His promises are true and I will stand on them today. I will not get sucked into the lies of the enemy because they are LIES. The TRUTH lies in the Word of God and I will wait on Him to do His work in me and through me!
Lord, thank you for Your Word! Thank you for never leaving me. I will glorify You through my struggles, because I know suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put me to shame, because Your love has been poured out into my heart (Rom 5:3-5). Thank you for sending me beautiful and wonderful Christian friends who support me here on earth. Thank you for sending your Son to die on the cross for me so that I could be redeemed. I am in AWE of You and I know that those who have persistent faith will obey when the task seems impossible and I have FAITH in YOU, God. You know me. You know it all. I will not fail with You in my corner. Let the words of Christ always be on my mind and the love of Christ be behind all my actions. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Hebrews 13:5-6 – Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”
God is sufficient in everything that we need, even sometimes the things that we want. Don’t let insecurity rip you of your confidence in what God can do for you! If His eye is on the sparrow, then I know He watches me!
