Troubles come and troubles go, but if you are fulfilling your purpose on this earth and building up the Kingdom of God, then trouble follows you like a wandering lost puppy looking for food. No one ever said this life would be easy. In fact, Jesus said for us to “Take heart, you WILL have trouble, but you can have PEACE.” Everyone wants to be saved and some say, “Once saved, always saved.” But, is everyone willing to go through the transformation? We cannot just sit idly by while the world goes on around us and WISH for things to get better. We must stand and fight for the things we believe in and with that comes trials and tests that threaten to take us out! Are you a soldier in the Army of God, or are you just a spectator in the stands of life? We must be the change we desire to see, but in that, we must be WILLING to change. I struggle ALL THE TIME against the battle between my own ears. I hear voices saying, “Who do you think you are?? What do you think you are trying to do? Everyone despises you. You are a NOBODY. What makes you think you can make a difference?” But those are LIES and I must know that God will never leave me in my trouble, even when I feel He is a million miles away.
Psalm 10:1 – Why, Lord, do you stand far off?
Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?
The transformation of my own thoughts, my own actions, the very words coming from my own mouth is exactly what the enemy does NOT want to see. So what happens? I find trouble is swooping down from on high and pecking me right in the face. So what am I to do? I know I want to change. I know I want to be transformed. And God is hidden from me. But He ISN’T!! He is a breath away, a prayer away, and He is my FRIEND. I must stop complaining to everyone who has an ear to listen and turn to the ONE who has the ability to change it all in an instant. And even when that relief doesn’t come immediately, then I must know that He is working it all out for His good!

John 16:33 – “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
This world has nothing for us because the world is not in sync with Christ. Even Christians are battling other Christians and for what? However, if we are in constant communication with our Creator God and with Christ who died for EVERYONE, then we will be at peace! We are not alone in our struggles! God is with us, living in us!
